About the study program
Management and Digital Technology - MDT

Do you want to become a sought-after professional with hands-on experience in business, with international experience and diplomas from two universities? Enroll in a unique Bachelor professional study program offered in English. You will spend 4 years at the Faculty of Economics in Cheb and at the German OTH Amberg-Weiden, during which you will spend two six-month internships in companies and will then have the best chance of finding a job in the Czech Republic and Bavaria.

What will I learn?

You will acquire knowledge and skills not only in the field of business administration, but also in the technical field. You will learn about robotics, digitization, artificial intelligence and their application in production. You will become fluent in English, learn basic German and gain experience of working in an international environment.

What are my career prospects?

You will undertake two six-month internships in partner companies and organizations. This will give you plenty of practical experience and therefore a competitive advantage on the job market. Thanks to the acquired knowledge and skills, you will be in high demand in the fields of project and product management, key account management, data analysis, innovation and modern technologies. The partner companies of the study program will make specific job offers.

Is MDT the right choice for me?

Visa information

As the Czech Republic is a member of the EU, international students coming from EU countries do not need a visa. However, if you come from a country outside the EU and your stay is planned for more than 90 days, you are required to have a student visa.

Accommodation

Accommodation in the Czech Republic

The UWB Faculty of Economics in Cheb offers accommodation right in the faculty building. It offers both short-term and long-term lodgings. There are single, double and triple rooms available at reasonable rates. The rooms are equipped with comfortable furniture and a fridge. There is a kitchenette just down the hall. The faculty building is located close to the historic city center, various green spaces as well as the bus and train stations.
